When we design your eflyer campaign we take care of the basics. We have a 10 point check list which we apply to every email before broadcast - and they have to pass these points regardless of the design and message. We take care of custom authentication, this is pivotal in in how deliverable your email campaign will be. We may ask you to pass some additional authentication information on to your system administratro (or IT contractor) to help with the long term deliverability of your email campaigns - afterall, there's no point in planning a great campaign, only to find a percentage of your emails are ending up in spam, or being bounced. We'll also work with you to determine whether single opt-in, or confirmed (double opt-in) will be a significant hurdle to on-boarding subscribers for your campaign. If your business uses a Gmail or Hotmail solution, we'll work with you to arrange a broadcast domain which will authenticate - this will be in line with current DMARC policies.
Before your first campaign is broadcast, we'll discuss in depth the initial recipient data your business posseses, the objectives of the campaign, and the desired outcomes. Your emails need to engage with your audience, or the lack or engagement will be a key-factor in further campaigns being blocked. This is a factor which has become more important to ISPs who are working hard to prevent their email customers from being snowed-under by spam. We may recommend further action before the campaign meets the pre-requisite standard to being a broadcast - we don't want a situation where you've spent considerable time nuturing and growing a contact list, which suffers low open-rates, you risk damaging your reputation by continuing to send people emails which will never be opened, plus this wastes budget.
When it comes to your actual campaign, we'll advise and work with you to determine appropriate Subject lines, ensuring your subscribers can be confident in your communications - building trust in your business. We'll also advise the optimum number of images to include when designing and building your email, to meet the needs of your campaign, whilst ensuring the deliverability of your campaign remains optimal.
We'll also consult with you over what can seem like a small detail, but is very important for the overall effectiveness of your campaign budget: How easy it is to unsubscribe, and reminding users why they gave permission for you to remain in contact with them electronically. We'll check the email for shortened URLs, and suggest alternative solutions where practical.
